Dr. Nida Hamid, Psy.D., is a Clinical Psychologist and a Consulting Neuropsychologist that provides assessment and treatment for psychological and neurological disorders.  Her psychology undergraduate degree was completed at Michigan State University in 2000.  She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology in 2011. 

 

Dr. Hamid completed additional post-doctoral training in the subspeciality of Neuropsychology.  She developed an expertise in neuropsychological assessment of adolescents, young adults and older adults with a wide variety of medical or neurological conditions that affect how the brain works. 

 

Dr. Hamid also has a variety of experience in the legal application of neuropsychological services. She also provides additional forensic services including medical record reviews, expert consultation and testimony as an expert witness. Dr. Hamid is also a Staff Neuropsychologist at an outpatient facility, Horizon Counseling Services. 

 

Dr. Hamid is a member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology, Michigan Psychological Association and American Psychological Association.
